Overview
At Babcock we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and you can play your part as a Material Planner at our Donnington site.
The role
As a Material Planner, you’ll play a vital role in enabling operations by ensuring accurate, timely and compliant material planning across Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul activity. Working closely with Operations, Planning, PMO and material subject matter experts, you’ll support material enablement for MRO delivery and associated Contract Change Notices.
- Supporting effective material management, working with operations and planning teams to enable MRO delivery
- Maintaining accurate material data, partnering with the Material Data Controller to identify issues and delays early
- Completing material assessments, in line with policies, processes and service level agreements
- Managing authority dependencies, advising on escalation and relief claims where required
- Ensuring accurate reporting, maintaining material data and compliance within SAP and MJDI systems
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Donnington.

Qualifications
Material Accountant and UAA training courses are advantageous. We value difference and don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and/or willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
