Overview: Inspire the next generation and help shape the future of nuclear, engineering and technology careers. At Cavendish Nuclear, we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. The role is based at one of our key locations Moor Row (Cumbria), Warrington (Cheshire), Leicester (Leicestershire) or Bristol, working 37 hours per week, with hybrid work patterns that include approximately two days per week in office. Travel to other Cavendish Nuclear locations will be expected, typically about once per month.
The role: As an External Engagement Advisor, you will play a vital role in building the future talent pipeline for one of the UK's leading nuclear businesses.
- Leading STEM outreach and engagement activities across schools, colleges, universities and community partners.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with educational institutions and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating engagement events and acting as the central point of contact for outreach activity.
- Promoting early career opportunities and strengthening Cavendish Nuclear's reputation as an employer of choice.
- Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on engagement initiatives to drive continuous improvement and share best practice.
Essential Experience for External Engagement Advisor:
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, to a high standard.
- Presenting confidently to groups and engaging a variety of audiences.
- Experience within early careers, outreach, education, engagement or talent attraction environments would be advantageous.

Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
