Role and responsibilities

  • As a HR Advisor, you’ll be a trusted partner to our operational teams, delivering expert guidance on employee relations and supporting line managers to drive performance and engagement.
  • Day-to-day you’ll be: advising line managers and employees on HR and ER matters such as absence, performance and investigations
  • Delivering HR projects including consultations, engagement activities and training
  • Supporting policy implementation and change management initiatives
  • Collaborating with the HR Business Partnering team on ad hoc tasks
  • Acting as a role model for Babcock’s values and principles

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with three days in the office/onsite and two days working from home.

Essential experience

  • Providing Employee Relations advice and employment law guidance
  • Interpreting and implementing corporate policies
  • Working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
  • Leading local change management initiatives
  • Navigating unionised environments with confidence

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
