Role
As an Electrical Production Supervisor, you’ll lead and motivate skilled operational teams delivering complex marine engineering work. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring work is completed safely, on time, to the right quality standards, and within budget - directly supporting vital naval and defence programmes.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities:
- Leading and motivating production teams to safely deliver defined packages of work
- Managing resources and workloads to meet cost, quality, and delivery requirements
- Setting and monitoring daily production targets and operational performance
- Embedding safe working practices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Taking ownership of activity levels, attendance standards, and operational discipline
Essential Experience:
- Experience working with mechanical and electrical marine installations, such as pumps, valves, pipework, engines, rudders, and stabilisers
- Ability to read and interpret installation and engineering drawings
- Proven experience supervising teams in a production or engineering environment
- Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with risk assessment and accident reporting processes
Qualifications:
- Time‑served with extensive, recent experience in a mechanical or engineering discipline
- ONC or HNC in an engineering discipline (preferred but not essential)
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
