At Cavendish Nuclear, we’re working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician. This is a full-time onsite position at Sellafield, Cumbria, near Seascale and Egremont.
The role:
- As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, you’ll be responsible for the repair, maintenance, calibration, and testing of Radiation Protection Instruments, ensuring safety, accuracy, and compliance.
- Maintain instructions and record information accurately.
- Follow local procedures, rules, and working practices to ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met.
- Provide technical advice and updates to customers.
- Mentor team members, including apprentices and new entrants.
Experience required:
- Apprenticeship or equivalent training in Electronic, Electrical, or Instrumentation disciplines.
- Knowledge of conventional and nuclear safety.
- Experience servicing electronic instrument systems.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 Electrical Qualification.
- Security Clearance: Must be able to achieve and maintain SC security clearance. Details at UK Security Vetting.
