Therole

As a Digital Capability Director Land Sector, youll have a role thats out of the ordinary. This position blends strategic executive leadership with specialised defence sector knowledge to spearhead digital transformation within one of the UK\’s most challenging and mission-critical environments.

Day to day youll drive strategic digital transformation across the UK defence landscape, aligning advanced digital capabilities with military goals, while championing collaboration, innovation, and effective stakeholder engagement. Youll also:

  • Align digital initiatives with defence objectives and business goals.
  • Ensure digital solutions are relevant and mission-aligned
  • Act as the primary liaison for digital initiatives with defence stakeholders
  • Evaluate, implement, and improve digital tools and workflows
  • Ensure seamless delivery of digital programmes that meet customer expectations

Please note that this position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangement.

Essential experience of the Digital Capability Director Land Sector:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a digital environment, preferably within the defence sector
  • Demonstrated experience in managing digital programmes and initiatives
  • Experience in relationship management, with a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholder
