The role:
As a Continuous Improvement / Innovation Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will join our Advanced Manufacturing Team, Improvement & Capability to work on large scale, high integrity complex projects within the defence and commercial markets. Day-to-day, you’ll manage and influence the improved performance of advanced manufacturing through the use of Lean sigma and operational excellence toolsets. Governing, leading, facilitating and managing all business improvement activities with the longer term goal of embedding an improvement culture.
Responsibilities include:
- Leadership: Provide leadership and strategic direction to deliver transformation.
- Lean Improvement Programme: Deliver lean improvement programme and network of champions and train the trainers to accelerate learning and implementation.
- Six Sigma Development: Define and deliver the appropriate capacity and capability to deliver six sigma capability.
- Reporting: Own the automation and simplification of reporting through the use of digital tools and AI.
- Continual Improvement: Continually looking for process improvement, including streamlining processes, and utilising the latest software solutions on projects.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Rosyth Dockyard, Fife. Hybrid working options are available.
Essential Experience:
- Time served relevant experience in management roles including managing change programmes.
- Proven track record in delivering business improvement through personal leadership and vision.

Security Clearance:
