The role
As a Senior Digital Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is an opportunity to make a real impact on national security while advancing your career in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment. Day-to-day, you’ll take a leading role in delivering digital engineering and Building Information Modelling (BIM) solutions that support some of the UK’s most critical infrastructure projects. From tender through to completion, you’ll provide expertise in BIM, CAD, and Information Management, ensuring operational excellence and driving innovation.
- Contribute to strategy and implementation of 3D CAD, BIM, and Information Management in line with ISO
- Work with delivery partners and clients to meet operational and strategic requirements
- Ensure governance in tool selection, planning, and deployment
- Support and lead digital strategy and delivery across the wider group
- Engage stakeholders internally and externally to drive successful outcomes
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Senior Digital Engineer
- Proven experience in BIM implementation and management within nuclear or similarly complex industries
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including client engagement
- Expertise in Autodesk solutions such as Revit, Navisworks, Inventor, Vault, and Synchro
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management, digital manufacturing, or asset management (advantageous)
Qualifications for the Senior Digital Engineer
- Degree or equivalent experience in a digital or mechanical engineering field, with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation
- Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
