Lead Security Strategy for a National Defence Programme. This is a high-impact role where your leadership will drive strategic security decisions and foster a culture of safety and resilience. Day-to-day, you’ll be the Head of Security for our SATCOM Program, delivering high-level governance across physical, personal, technological, and information security. You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including senior customers, to implement and manage security measures that mitigate risks and protect Babcock and customer assets.
Essential Experience:
- Proven leadership in defence or government security environments.
- Strong background in security risk management and mitigation techniques.
- Experience designing NPSA-compliant solutions using OR model and STaMP process.
- In-depth knowledge of GovS007, JSP 440, JSP 628, JSP 490, and ISO 27001.
- Practical understanding of GDPR compliance and data protection.
Qualifications:
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent commercial experience in a related subject.
- The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
