Overview
At Cavendish Nuclear, we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. If you join us, you can play your part as a Health and Safety Training Assistant based across our sites in Leicester and Bristol.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality health, safety and environmental training sessions across multiple locations
- Review and update training materials to align with current legislation and company standards
- Develop engaging digital learning packages for internal training platforms
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external bodies such as IOSH and ECITB
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure documentation remains up-to-date
The role is full-time, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, typically 08:00 to 16:00, with flexible and hybrid working available, although regular onsite presence is required. The role includes travel to customer sites across the Midlands and South-West to deliver training.
Essential Experience
- Experience delivering face-to-face and/or virtual training sessions
- Strong working knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Clear communication and presentation skills to engage diverse audiences
- Collaborative abilities with stakeholders across teams and locations
- Ability to manage and update training materials in a structured and organised way
Qualifications
- Level 3 (or equivalent) accredited Health and Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Health and Safety)
- Recognised training or teaching qualification from an accredited body
- Minimum Tech IOSH membership (or working towards) with active CPD
- Experience delivering IOSH training (such as Managing Safely) is advantageous
- First‑Aid Trainer or Mental Health First‑Aid England Trainer qualifications advantageous

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain UK – Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
