This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project, where contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s vast network of rooms.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the development and delivery of piping and mechanical construction work packages to support site installation activities.
  • Coordinating with engineering teams, contractors and client stakeholders to ensure documentation is accurate, compliant and construction‑ready.
  • Supporting and guiding construction personnel, providing technical expertise to enable safe and efficient project delivery.
  • Monitoring progress against project schedules and prioritising key deliverables to achieve programme milestones.
  • Championing nuclear safety, quality standards and continuous improvement throughout the construction lifecycle.

Essential Experience:

  • Proven experience delivering mechanical and piping systems on large‑scale construction or engineering projects.
  • Experience working within highly regulated sectors such as nuclear, power generation, oil and gas, defence, rail or petrochemical industries.
  • Strong understanding of construction work packages, technical documentation and installation processes.
  • Experience coordinating contractors, engineers and client stakeholders across complex project environments.
  • Knowledge of safe systems of work and a strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards.

Qualifications: Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience.

Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
