Job Summary

Supporting safe, efficient rail operations through effective resource planning. At Babcock, we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. If you join us, you can play your part as a Rostering Administrator based at Cadder Yard, Scotland supporting our Rail business.

Responsibilities

  • Creating, updating, and maintaining staff rosters to meet planned work requirements.
  • Working with depot and management teams to understand staffing needs and operational priorities.
  • Scheduling training and competence activities, ensuring staff are released appropriately.
  • Liaising with agency suppliers to cover any shortfalls in resourcing.
  • Maintaining accurate records of staff skills, competencies, suppliers, and workforce data.

Essential Experience

  • Experience in an administrative or coordination role within a busy, structured environment.
  • Experience producing or supporting rosters, schedules, or resource plans.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and confidence working with data and records.

Qualifications

  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
