Shape data‑driven decisions that support the UK’s submarine fleet. In this role you will support business analysis across submarine support and engineering programmes, improving processes, systems and decision‑making within a complex defence environment. You will work within the Digital Solutions team, contributing to innovative tools and technology solutions that enhance operational performance across the defence enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Identify, analyse and document business requirements.
- Analyse business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Assist in the development of digital and business solutions aligned to stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support programme delivery.
- Produce clear reports and documentation to support decision‑making and change initiatives.
Essential Experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Understanding of business analysis techniques and business process improvement methods.
- Awareness of system development lifecycles such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Ability to capture and document business requirements effectively.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Qualifications
- Degree in an information technology‑related discipline or equivalent relevant experience – essential.
