The role
As an Assistant Project Controller, you will have a unique role with exposure to various aspects of the business, liaising with engineering, project management, and stakeholders.
Your responsibilities include supporting the capture and management of Lessons for Exploration (LfE) across the Submarine Disposal Programme and assisting with their implementation.
- Supporting the delivery and management of LfE processes across the programme and projects.
- Collaborating with the Project Control team to analyze information and identify potential LfE.
- Investigating LfE and producing reports.
- Maintaining the LfE capture register, implementation tracker, and relevant databases like PEPS.
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to capture, share, and discuss LfE.
This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, offering hybrid working with days in the office and from home.
Essential Experience
- Ability to work as part of a team in a hybrid environment.
- Experience in producing reports and communicating with senior leaders.
- Proactive, inquisitive, and able to work independently.
- Open to challenging and being challenged.
Desirable Skills
- Awareness of continuous improvement methodologies like Lean.
