The role
As an Apprenticeship Coach – Electronics Technician you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll deliver workplace-based learning, coaching, and assessment to help apprentices complete their programmes successfully and meet industry, ESFA, and Ofsted requirements. This is a role where you’ll make a real difference, supporting the next generation of skilled professionals while strengthening Babcock’s reputation for excellence in vocational training.
Day-to-day you’ll be required to :
- Deliver scheduled visits and complete all required documentation
- Support, motivate, and coach learners through their apprenticeship programme
- Monitor and review learner progress in line with customer expectations
- Provide portfolio-building advice and guidance
- Ensure compliance with awarding organisation, ESFA, and Ofsted requirements
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel to our Tidworth site on a weekly / monthly basis alongside home working arrangements.

- Significant experience in an appropriate industry environment
Qualifications for the Apprenticeship Coach – Electronics Technician :
- GCSE Maths and English (grade C or above or equivalent)
- Relevant industry-related qualification in Electronics (minimum Level 3)

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) + Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check security clearance for this role.
