The role As a Electrical Calibration Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Your role will include responsibility for the calibration, diagnosis and repair of Safety and Test and Measuring Equipment (T&ME), nucleonic Radiation Detection & Monitoring Equipment (RDME) Day-to-day, you’ll use approved quality systems to ensure the requirements of the Trident Strategic Weapon System (SWS), nuclear operations and other non-strategic customers are met. Comply with health and safety legislation, policies and standards Validation of procedures and analysing the effects of new and amended procedures Write paper document and software calibration procedures for new equipment and generate calibration checklists for new / different models to meet SWPT and departmental requirement Take lead role of a team of calibration officers and participate in measurement audits as part of the US / UK Inter Laboratory Comparison Programme (ILCP) to ensure the Facilit…
