The role of Stock Controller / Logistics Coordinator:
- Receiving and booking in of deliveries
- Vending machine usage, refills, stock checks, and min-max inventory level adjustments
- Adding and removing items from vending machines and basic maintenance
- Collection, packing and shipping of used tools for regrind and scrap carbide for recycling
- Managing and reporting shipments of incorrect products, over/under shipments, duplicates, and processing returns
- Storage and scanning of packing slips, supplier documents, and delivery notes
- Answering accounts payable queries related to deliveries
- Following up overdue orders with suppliers and challenging when needed
- Communication with onsite team and customer regarding late shipments and estimated due dates
The ideal Stock Controller / Logistics Coordinator:
- Previous Stock Control or Logistics Coordinator experience
- Good English and Maths skills
- Office 365 and Excel skills
- Understanding of health and safety
- Self-motivated and professional
- System experience with WebUI, SupplyPro, Autocrib, matrix or similar (ideal, not essential - training provided)
- Previous experience with customer and supplier interaction
- Basic understanding of cutting tools, abrasives, or industrial supplies (beneficial)
This role is based at a client site in Barnoldswick within the Aerospace industry. Please note you must be able to pass 5 years full security vetting clearances to be successful in this role. Own transport is required due to the location of the site.
