The Department of Engineering at Nottingham Trent University is seeking a Laboratory Demonstrator to support undergraduate and postgraduate students. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a module leader and other academics, delivering high-quality demonstrating and providing advice and support to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist academic staff in running laboratory and seminar sessions
- Offer advice and support to students
- Liaise with technical staff
- Mark work as required
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate complex ideas to students
- Sound engineering knowledge
The role is hourly paid, with a maximum of 100 hours per annum. The salary is £14.54 per hour for direct teaching support. The number of hours required and the days of the week may vary.
