It's an exciting and fast-paced life when you're working in one of the world's most important travel hubs, and you'll be part of a global gateway connecting with people from all walks of life and helping to make each and every journey original and unique.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the BA Euroflyer Training Department for Permanent Full-time Ground Crew Instructors – 'Crew Training Specialists' (CTS). The CTS will deliver training in a variety of areas including SEP, CRM, First Aid to our Pilot and Cabin Crew communities. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining all training content for all courses in line with both CAA and Euroflyer regulations.

What You'll Do

  • Delivery of all regulatory training to include the design, implementation and updating of all course material including session plans, training aids and online learning within our Learning Management Systems.
  • To support, coach and mentor a team of Cabin Crew Instructors (CCI) to ensure continual compliance and standardisation and professional development.
  • For External applicants: To support the business, you will be qualified in the rank of Cabin Crew with a view to promote to SCCM to support the flying programme during the summer season.
  • For Internal candidates: Current operating rank will be upheld. Continuation of flying during the summer season will be required.
  • Conducting audits / inflight assessments and inflight co-ordination training.

Successful candidates will need excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to help others learn and develop through coaching and mentoring whilst delivering and receiving continuous feedback. Strong attention to detail and ability to create and structure course content in line with CAA and company regulatory requirements. Candidates will need a minimum of 12-months experience (internal and external) as a Crew Training Instructor and previous flying experience as a cabin crew member/SCCM.

Working 37.5 hours per week with a mix of week and weekend working. A degree of flexibility is therefore essential. Training locations include Crawley, London Gatwick and London Heathrow so some travel will be required.
