The role: Resource Planning Analyst

Salary bandings for this role dependent on experience & location:

  • Manchester: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
  • London City Airport: £47,000 - £54,000 per annum

Do you have an analytical mindset and are looking to take your career to the next level in the aviation industry? The Resource Planning Analyst role is critical to ensure the accurate and robust planning of pilot and cabin crew resources across BA’s two subsidiary airlines, BA Cityflyer and BA Euroflyer. You’ll own and maintain manpower plans, ensuring the optimum number and location of crew to deliver the operation. You’ll work with stakeholders across the business, tracking against financial plans, supporting key operational decisions and industrial relations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and maintain pilot and cabin crew resource plans
  • Report on crew resource KPIs including tracking against financial plan
  • Partner with – and support - senior stakeholders across the business
  • Work as part of the Crew Resource team to identify efficiency improvement opportunities and novel approaches

What You’ll Bring To BA Cityflyer:

The successful candidate will be pro-active and ambitious, possess strong planning, numeracy, and analytical skills, and have excellent communication skills to understand and convey problems concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Additionally, the role requires problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and an ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.

Your Experience:

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level (or hold an equivalent qualification or experience), with strong analytical skills, including using Microsoft Excel. They should also be highly IT literate, a good communicator and able to work as part of a team.
