Overview
BA Cityflyer is part of the British Airways family. We operate from London City Airport, serving business and leisure customers with a close-knit team. This role is for an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor (UK CAA Part 66 B1 or B1/B2) within our line maintenance team, leading Licensed Engineers to maintain a modern Embraer E190 fleet. The position requires leadership in a fast-paced operation where precision and teamwork matter.
Earn up to £91,009 in your first year plus private medical insurance and extensive British Airways worldwide staff travel. The package includes a basic salary, shift allowance, and a sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Lead a skilled group of Licensed Engineers in maintaining the Embraer E190 fleet.
- Deliver safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance activities for scheduled and reactive work.
- Coordinate work requirements, defect rectification, and AOG recovery.
- Promote a positive culture focused on integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- CAA Part-66 Category B1 or B1/B2 licence with minimum 5 years certification experience.
- At least 1 current aircraft type authorisation.
- Current Embraer 190 type rating is desirable; type training will be provided to successful candidates.
- Valid full UK driving licence (or equivalent).
- Ability to hold an airport restricted zone access and an airside driving licence.
