B4B Payments is part of the Banking Circle Group, a 1,000+ person ecosystem owned by the EQT investment organisation. B4B Payments is an embedded and direct payment services provider offering card issuing and BIN sponsorship, and accounts, payments and FX to businesses, with the tools, APIs and infrastructure to allow clients and partners to build cutting-edge financial services.

You will own the shared infrastructure, APIs, integrations, data layer, and developer experience that all domain areas build on. Your mission is to make the platform scalable, well-documented, and API-first – enabling evolution of a modern, composable financial services platform that clients and partners can integrate into their existing workflows and systems.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and tech leads across all domains. Where capabilities span both layers, you own the backend infrastructure and the CX PM owns the user-facing experience. You will collaborate closely to ensure the platform enables great user experiences.

This role suits someone who enjoys building from the ground up, is happy to roll up their sleeves on tasks big and small, and gets energy from seeing tangible progress. Define API coverage priorities, set design and documentation standards, and ensure new features ship API-first with UI as a consumer.

Own platform infrastructure and shared services – own the technical architecture for horizontal capabilities: authentication, user management, existing portal consolidation, notifications, reporting infrastructure, and shared data models. Collaborate with the CX PM who owns the user experience layer.

Drive the data and reporting layer – own the data model and reporting requirements to reduce ad-hoc engineering effort, and lay the groundwork for the evolution of client-facing analytics. API documentation, sandbox/testing environments, partner onboarding flows, and developer portal. Drive prioritised development and delivery – work directly with tech leads and engineers to prioritise and sequence platform work.

You’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves, moving fast, and making pragmatic trade-offs to ship.

  • Experience building tech products at the heart of the action – working directly with engineers, clients, internal stakeholders, and external third parties across the full development lifecycle.
  • Strong API and technical fluency – you can read API specs, understand data modelling, and hold your own in technical design discussions.
  • Experience with platform or infrastructure product management – you understand building for internal consumers (other PMs, engineers, partners) and how to prioritise foundational work that unlocks everything else.
  • Financial services or payments domain exposure – you should understand the basics of how money moves (accounts, payments, cards, FX) and the regulatory context (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience with integrations and partner connectivity – you’ve built or managed integrations with third-party systems (ERP/accounting, HRIS, or enterprise software). You understand webhooks, event-driven architecture, and cross-system data synchronisation.
  • Experience working in an agile/scrum environment with a strong written culture – PRDs, API specifications, strategy docs, and clear product documentation.
  • English fluency for both speaking and writing, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with data warehousing, ETL pipelines, or BI/analytics product management.

25 days annual leave, access to retail & other discounts, Vitality health care plan, learning & development support, ride-to-work scheme, employee assistance programme.

We are always on the lookout for talented individuals to help take us further – it’s important to us to hire the right people for roles that work for both us and the individual.

Equality: We strive to create a workplace that reflects the diverse communities we serve and where everyone feels empowered to bring their full, authentic selves to work.
