Overview

As one of the South Coast’s leading digital marketing agencies, we design and manage the websites, marketing and business systems for a large number of clients across Dorset, Hampshire and further afield. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager with agency experience to join our Marketing team.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimising a portfolio of B2B and B2C brands, with a particular focus on multiple channels across content, SEO, PPC, web development, social media, PR, design and print.

You will have at least 6+ years of previous agency experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects and people, and strong strategic, organisational and communication skills. There is great scope for further career progression within our fast-growing team.

You will be a senior member of our marketing team and help drive business growth through best-in-class client and account management. You will develop proactive account plans and strategies to meet client retention and budget targets, and identify, propose, upsell and implement the most appropriate campaigns, projects or solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, updating them regularly on campaign aims, processes and results
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts and administer day-to-day processes
  • Work closely with clients to understand their overall business objectives and make recommendations
  • Collaborate with the SEO & Content teams to ensure the right strategic approach for each client and set their marketing strategy
  • Ensure clients have set KPIs and a clear growth plan
  • Ensure that all budgets are adhered to and that campaigns are delivered within the agreed timescales
  • Leverage analytics and reporting tools to assess campaign performance, extract insights and optimise outputs
  • Identify opportunities and help bring in extra work / upsells to achieve the team monthly target
  • Help to coach and mentor the Marketing team
  • Develop and implement best practices in Account Management and Client Services
  • Act as an ambassador for b4b both internally and externally

Requirements

  • A strong background in digital marketing and account management within an agency environment is essential – 6+ years
  • Excellent understanding of SEO, PPC, Social Media and keen interest in always learning about the digital and marketing landscape
  • Confident and effective influencer at a senior level, both internally and with existing and prospective clients
  • Strong analytical mindset - comfortable with campaign data, KPIs, reporting and insight-led optimisation
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple projects at any given time
  • An eye for detail paired with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills
  • Great presentation skills when dealing with clients
  • Pride in your work and appearance as you will be an ambassador for our business
  • Full UK Driving Licence with own car
