Based in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. Permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week. Salary: £28,436 - £31,596 per annum.

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified painter and decorator to join our responsive repairs team and help maintain the homes of our customers to the highest standards. In this role, you will deliver a high-quality decorating and maintenance service across occupied and void properties. You will diagnose repairs accurately, carry out remedial work, and ensure communal areas are well-maintained through preparation and decoration tasks. Working closely with the Property Team, you will liaise with customers to ensure satisfaction and uphold our Customer Services and Diversity Policies. You may also, from time to time, assist with emergency callouts.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in simple ceramic tiling (up to 1m² patch replacement)
  • Experience in plastering patch repairs (ceilings, walls, plasterboards, etc.)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 in painting & decorating or equivalent

Please note, this role will involve climbing ladders, working at height and in confined spaces, and lifting and moving heavy objects, tools and materials. You will also be required to have a basic criminal record (DBS) check, which we will pay for.
