We have an exciting opportunity for a proven property maintenance professional with major works experience to step into an exciting role with our dedicated organisation.
As an Asset Surveyor, you will inspect properties during and after major works projects, for changes, maintenance and updates such as kitchen, bathroom, roof, window and door upgrades. Focusing on quality, customer satisfaction and value for money, you will monitor contractors, inspect installations and ensure handovers are smooth and satisfactory. You will speak to customers to discuss their needs and ensure the quality of work is achieved, following up on any complaints or queries they have. In addition, you will identify snagging issues, monitor cost variations and attend planning meetings, whilst ensuring H&S standards are followed and maintained.
We're looking for someone with:
- Property maintenance experience, including major works
- A thorough understanding of building principles, including surveys, diagnosis and remedial action using logical, evidenced and fact-based processes
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations and CDM
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills
- A full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle
