Neemar Search is delighted to be partnering with B3Living to recruit a Board Member with asset management experience who will play a key role in shaping the organisation's strategic direction and ensuring its homes remain safe, sustainable and fit for the future.

As B3Living continues to deliver its ambitious 2024-2027 strategy, this is an opportunity to contribute at Board level, providing strategic oversight and constructive challenge.We are looking for candidate who can also bring asset management expertise, with a particular focus on health and safety. building safety and long-term sustainability.
The Role
As a Board Member, you will work alongside fellow Board members and the Executive Team to help shape B3Living's future, ensuring that its approach supports both organisational objectives and the needs of residents.
You will play an active role in the governance of the organisation, contributing to strategic decision‑making, organisational performance and the delivery of positive outcomes for customers and communities.
You will also bring specialist knowledge and strategic insight to discussions surrounding the management, maintenance and investment of B3Living's housing portfolio. This will include providing constructive challenge on asset management strategies, planned maintenance programmes, capital investment and the long-term sustainability of the organisation's homes.
A key aspect of the position will involve supporting the Board's oversight of building safety, property compliance and asset-related risks, ensuring the organisation continues to meet its regulatory obligations while delivering safe, high-quality homes. You will also contribute to discussions around energy efficiency, decarbonisation and environmental sustainability, helping B3Living balance investment priorities with financial resilience and value for money.
About You
We are seeking an individual with significant experience in asset management, ideally gained within social housing or another relevant property-intensive, regulated environment. You will bring a strong understanding of property investment, building safety, compliance and the challenges associated with maintaining and improving housing assets.
You will have experience of developing or overseeing long-term asset investment and maintenance strategies, alongside a sound understanding of health and safety responsibilities, regulatory requirements and effective risk management. An appreciation of sustainability, energy efficiency and the challenges associated with decarbonising existing housing stock will also be important.
Strong commercial awareness, strategic thinking and the ability to assess complex information will be essential. You will be confident in providing independent judgement and constructive challenge, while working collaboratively with fellow Board members and the Executive Team.

Previous Board experience is not essential.
