The purpose of your role will be to manage technical information, specifications and supplier documentation, while supporting customers, suppliers and internal teams.

Key tasks:
  • Maintain and update raw material specifications, supplier records and technical documentation, ensuring all certifications and related files remain accurate, organised and up to date.
  • Support sample tracking, customer questionnaires and technical forms, while liaising with suppliers and laboratories regarding testing and technical information.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to customers, suppliers and internal teams by responding to queries, following up outstanding documentation and assisting with product quality requests, customer projects and new product activity.
  • Support the maintenance of company quality systems, procedures and technical records, ensuring accurate logs are kept for suppliers, complaints and compliance documentation.
  • Work closely with Sales, Logistics, Finance and Operations teams to support business activities, build strong working relationships and provide wider administrative support where required.

The successful candidate shall have experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry and a supportive food degree i.e. food science or another relevant subject. You shall have knowledge of Microsoft Office with good administrative skills and be an excellent communicator at all levels.

The Technical Administrator job (ref:9055) is paying £30,000 according to your experience. The site is in Wirral and is commutable from Bebington, Moreton, Birkenhead, Hoylake and surrounding areas. The working hours are Monday to Friday, standard office hours.
