Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of all quality paperwork received or returned from other departments, ensure tasks (QA Matrix) and any other requested activities are completed within designated timescales.
  • Operate quality and food safety systems across all departments with full documentation, ensuring compliance with the BRC Global Food standard and relevant legislation.
  • Assist with customer complaints: identify root causes, determine corrective actions to prevent recurrence, and close out complaints according to company procedures.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers, external contacts and colleagues; assist in customer visits and site technical audits as necessary.

About you

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a Quality Assurance environment. A degree in Food Science is advantageous but not essential. HACCP and Food Safety qualifications are important, and you should be PC-literate with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Salary: up to £27,000 depending on experience.
