About the Quality Team Leader job
Reporting to the Quality & Training Manager you will provide hands‑on support helping to maintain and improve food safety and quality compliance within this fast‑paced business.
Key tasks:
- Support the HACCP system and ensure all documentation, monitoring, and food safety controls are accurate and up to date.
- Audit SOPs, recipes, and processes, helping teams follow procedures consistently and resolve any issues.
- Maintain quality standards through inspections, audits, and checks, and assist with training records to ensure all staff understand food safety and quality requirements.
- Provide support across shifts, including weekends, to keep standards consistent.
- Identify opportunities to improve compliance, reduce waste, and raise product quality, while promoting a strong food safety and quality culture.
About You
The successful candidate shall have similar experience in food manufacturing, bakery, or similar production environment. Strong knowledge of food safety systems and HACCP Level 2. Experience of audits and procedures or compliance documentation.
More details: The role is paying £30,000 according to your experience. The role offers an opportunity for growth and career development. This is a site-based role and is commutable from Lowestoft, Southwold, Beccles, Framlingham, Halesworth, Ipswich and surrounding areas within Suffolk. The working hours are Sunday to Thursday, 07:00am to 4:00pm. This is a 42.5 hours per week, flexibility to cover 5-7 days and late shifts when needed.
