As a customer focused head of department, you will be responsible for the food safety and legality of manufactured products and compliance to customer codes of practice and industry guidelines.

Key tasks:
  • Responsible for all company technical teams.
  • Responsible for ensuring site standards comply with customer expectations.
  • Ensure the departmental managers have agreed KPI’s and ensure a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with the other team members to deliver the business objectives.
  • Support good health and safety working practices in the department.
About You:

You will need to be well-experienced within a technical capacity in food manufacturing. In addition:

  • Excellent team and people management skills and experience.
  • Experience of dealing with UK retailers and BRC standards and audits.
  • Degree educated with HACCP and Food Safety Level 4.
  • A proven track record of continuous improvement and implementation.
