As a customer focused head of department, you will be responsible for the food safety and legality of manufactured products and compliance to customer codes of practice and industry guidelines.
Key tasks:
- Responsible for all company technical teams.
- Responsible for ensuring site standards comply with customer expectations.
- Ensure the departmental managers have agreed KPIβs and ensure a culture of continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with the other team members to deliver the business objectives.
- Support good health and safety working practices in the department.
About You:
You will need to be well-experienced within a technical capacity in food manufacturing. In addition:
- Excellent team and people management skills and experience.
- Experience of dealing with UK retailers and BRC standards and audits.
- Degree educated with HACCP and Food Safety Level 4.
- A proven track record of continuous improvement and implementation.
