In this role, you will check products and packaging for food safety and legal compliance, record findings for traceability, report issues to prevent recalls, and support the team in maintaining quality and authenticity.
- Sample and test raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods to ensure food safety and quality standards are always met.
- Maintain HACCP controls and carry out internal, GMP, and annual BRC quality audits, including traceability and recall testing.
- Keep quality manuals, procedures, and records up to date.
- Supplier approvals and risks, collect required legal and BRC information, and provide customers with technical documents and certifications.
- Track environmental testing and all supplier, internal, and customer complaints, reporting results and trends at monthly meetings.
The successful candidate shall have experience in a similar quality role within a fast-paced food manufacturing site. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written. The ability to identify and implement technical improvements. Working knowledge of MS Office.
