The purpose of your role will be to support site due diligence in producing safe, legal, authentic, and quality food through managing all aspects of technical administration.

Key tasks

  • Supervision of the Technical Administrator including delegating tasks, ensuring accuracy of work, providing training, and conducting appraisals.

  • Generate and approve specifications for new products or processes (both internal and customer).

  • Assist with the supplier approval process in conjunction with the Quality Manager.

  • Oversee and conduct internal audits, raising any non-conformances.

  • Oversee the complaints system including reporting, investigation, and trending.

  • Generate pack copies from specifications and nutritional results and artwork sign-off.

  • Support the HACCP plan.

  • Provide technical guidance and advise the wider business on legal and customer requirements, particularly with respect to labelling, specifications, and nutritional targets.

  • Experience working in a technical role in food or beverage manufacturing.

  • HACCP Level 2 (ideally Level 3).

  • Internal audit training.

  • Experience with specification writing and artwork process.

  • High levels of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritise multiple projects/workstreams and delegate effectively.

The Senior Technical Administrator job is based in Lancashire and is paying up to £35,000 according to your experience.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.00pm.
