About the Senior Product Developer job
The purpose of your role will be to support the NPD team by working closely with the NPD Manager and Product Developers in leading projects, mentoring junior staff, and managing customer relationships.
- Manage the full NPD/EPD lifecycle from concept to launch, including developing innovative recipes, running factory trials, and ensuring product feasibility.
- Lead innovation based on consumer trends, acting as lead developer and category expert.
- Oversee product costings, supplier meetings, sourcing raw materials, and identifying market growth opportunities whilst managing projects, customer relationships, NPD briefs, presentations, and client interactions.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Technical, and Supply Chain teams as well as guiding junior team members, provide leadership within NPD, and oversee benchmarking sessions to support continuous improvement.
About You
- The successful candidate shall have at least 3 years NPD experience.
- A degree in food science, nutrition or related field as well as strong innovation and project management skills. Retail experience would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and confident in customer facing presentations.

The Senior Product Developer job (ref:8975) is paying £38,000 - £43,000 according to your experience. Hybrid working is considered 1-2 days per week, and the candidate must be able to drive due to the site's location. The working hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm. The package includes a Healthcare Plan.
