About the Senior NPD Technologist job
The Senior NPD Technologist role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual. There is a lot of scope for innovation as you will have the opportunity to work on flavour profiles from scratch, plus the chance to manage your own NPD projects.
Key tasks
- Develop innovative recipes and manage product development from concept through factory trials to launch.
- Manage projects and customer relationships, including handling NPD briefs, presentations, and client interactions.
- Oversee commercial responsibilities including product costings, supplier meetings, and identifying market growth opportunities.
- Provide leadership and support by overseeing benchmarking sessions.
About You
- The successful candidate shall possess a Degree in Food Science or related field.
- Experience within an New Product Development UK Food manufacturing role is required – ideally within the meat sector.
- Creative and strategic thinker, passionate about food innovation, with a solid understanding of consumer trends and product development in the UK market.
