About the Retail Technical Customer Manager job

The Retail Technical Customer Manager will be the main port of call for specified retail customers, external and third-party audits, representing the company.

Key tasks

  • Act as the main technical contact for key retail customers. Make sure their needs are clearly understood, share updates regularly, and develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships.
  • Work with teams across the business to develop new products and packaging that meet customer expectations. Keep customers informed and involved through samples, meetings, and clear communication.
  • Help make sure all products are safe, legal, and high quality. Handle complaints, support audits, and work closely with the factory to keep standards high and fix any issues quickly.
  • Keep technical procedures and company policies up to date. Take part in audits and work with suppliers to make sure they always meet company standards.

About You

  • The successful candidate shall be educated to degree level in a food science or related subject as well as a proven background of experience supplying into major retailers.
