About the Quality Assurance Technologist job
The purpose of your role will be to meet BRC and customer requirements by maintaining high standards of product safety, quality, legality, traceability, hygiene, and housekeeping.
Key tasks
* Maintain Standards by monitoring hygiene, housekeeping, food safety, quality, legality, allergen control, and traceability.
* Carry out internal audits (e.g., glass, blades, hygiene, GMP) and report any non-conformances or issues.
* Handle product or supplier issues, assist with customer complaints, and support quality and technical activities.
* Organise product testing, taste panels, and lab work, and work closely with other departments to ensure products meet specifications.
About You
* The successful candidate should be a good communicator and be well organised.
* Ideally, candidates will have prior experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry. However, we also welcome applications from recent graduates or enthusiastic college leavers with A-levels in a science subject. Experience in laboratory work or in quality control/assurance will also be highly regarded.

The Quality Assurance Technologist job (ref:8965) is c.£29,500 according to your experience.
The shift pattern is 6:00am to 2:00pm with a 30 minute paid break, Monday to Friday.
The candidate should have access to their own vehicle to the shift pattern. There are two vacancies available for this role.
The site is in Essex and is commutable from Colchester, Sudbury, Haverhill, Braintree, Witham, Halstead, Hadleigh, Bishops Stortford.
