About the Quality Assurance and Technical Assistant job
The purpose of your role will be to oversee processes and quality of production from start to finish whilst supporting the teams and always complying with legislative guidelines.
Key tasks
- Conduct internal audits covering allergens, glass & plastic, and HACCP/company procedures, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions where needed.
- Perform routine checks of fridges/freezers, product weights, and waste logs, ensuring accurate records and compliance.
- Calibrate equipment such as weight scales and temperature probes, manage chemical orders and cleaning schedules, and report findings to external parties.
- Investigate non-conformances, propose solutions to prevent recurrence, and provide team support during staff shortages or operational needs.
About You
- The successful candidate shall have a food science degree or experience within a similar role.
- Level 3 HACCP & good BRC knowledge is a must-have.
The Quality Assurance and Technical Assistant job (ref:8961) is paying £30,000 – £33,000 according to your experience.
The site is in South West London and is commutable from Victoria, Waterloo, London Bridge, Hammersmith, Earls Court, Fulham, Shepherd’s Bush and surrounding areas.
The working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm.
