QA Assistant

About the QA Assistant job
The purpose of your role will be to perform quality checks by sampling and analysing raw materials as well as hosting daily taste panels and preparing certificates of conformance and analysis.
Key tasks
- Daily audits are conducted to ensure factory hygiene standards are maintained at the highest level. After each production changeover, hygiene line checks are performed, which include allergen rapid testing to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Ensure all non-conformances and customer complaints are carefully logged, investigated, and closed out in a timely manner. Any risks, or evidence of unsafe or out-of-specification products, equipment, packaging, or raw materials, are reported immediately to maintain product integrity and safeguard consumers.
- Regular internal audits are carried out to verify adherence to quality and safety procedures. Staff training sessions are also organised to enhance awareness, skills, and commitment to maintaining high standards across all operations.
- Ongoing improvement is encouraged through the active contribution of ideas that can enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and overall profitability. This proactive approach helps drive a culture of excellence within the business.
About You
- The successful candidate shall ideally have experience in a food manufacturing environment in the quality assurance / technical field.
- Candidate must be well organised, be able to work independently, be good at decision making and have good communication skills.

The QA Assistant job (ref : 8999) is paying Β£27,000 β Β£29,000 according to your experience.
The site is based in West London and is commutable from Hayes, West Drayton, Slough, Ealing, Greenford, Southall, Uxbridge, Northolt, Hounslow, Feltham, Ruislip and Harrow.
The package includes 20 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per completed calendar year up to 25 days + bank holidays, standard company pension.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm.
