Production Team Leader – Day Shift A very successful business which has a passion to deliver quality of both product and service. Products are supplied to the UK’s leading supermarkets as well as smaller retail outlets, restaurant chains, food service and wholesale sectors nationwide. About the Production Team Leader job The successful person shall be accountable for the manufacturing environment and processes to meet business objectives. Key responsibilities include implementing production schedules and allocating resources to efficiently produce safe and legally compliant products. Drive success and growth by actively engaging and developing the team\’s capacity and capabilities. Key tasks * Ensure a safe working environment for all employees and agency staff, taking immediate action in the event of any accidents or incidents. * Develop and train a skilled, multiskilled team, driving performance and nurturing talent for long-term success. * Manufacture safe, legal food while proactively reducing non-conformities and driving process improvements through collaborative efforts. * Achieve business KPI metrics related to customer service, product quality, yield, labour efficiency, and continuous improvement opportunities. About You * Ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience within FMCG or food industry in a leadership role. * Experience in ambient/chilled products would be advantageous. * Excellent communication skills at all levels as well as being people-focused and encouraging of a positive work environment. More details The Production Team Leader job (ref:8972) is paying up to £40,000 according to your experience and 150% Overtime is available. The site is in Surrey and is commutable from Cobham, Kingston, Leatherhead, Wimbledon, Twickenham, Richmond, Sunbury, Chertsey and Chessington. The package includes 20 days annual leave increasing by one day per year of service up to 25 days maximum, cycle to work scheme and life assurance. The working weeks is 4 on 4 off, 7:00am to 7:00pm.
