Production Supervisor - Food Manufacturing

About the Production Supervisor job The purpose of your role will be to supervise the Low-Risk production team, ensuring staff are properly trained, resourced and working safely while meeting production, efficiency and quality targets. Key tasks * Carry out regular stock takes and ensure stock levels are accurately recorded. * Supervise the Low-Risk production team, ensuring employees are appropriately resourced, trained and motivated to produce safe, high-quality products. * Ensure weekly production and efficiency targets are achieved while maintaining the required quality standards. * Oversee and verify the completion of accurate production paperwork, ensuring all products are fully traceable. * Monitor customer quality complaints in collaboration with the Technical team and other departments, identifying improvements and implementing changes where required. * Work closely with the Technical team and Production Managers to ensure company hygiene standards are consistently maintained. * Support the production team with manufacturing activities when required. About You * The successful candidate shall have experience of working in the manufacturing of food products and could suit a person stepping into a leadership role from a production level position. * Excellent working knowledge of food production machinery, processes and equipment. * Sound understanding of food hygiene, HACCP trained and ideally an understanding of the BRCGS standards. More details The Production Supervisor job (ref:9099 is paying between £35,000 - £37,000 according to your experience. The working hours are 5.30am to 2:00pm. The site is in the North West England and is commutable from Manchester, Wigan, Leigh, Bury, Chorley, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Preston and surrounding areas.
