About the Production Manager job The purpose of your role will be to manage Production, Process, and Distribution departments to ensure safe, cost-effective, timely production that meets quality standards. Key tasks * Maintain a safe, healthy, and legally compliant workplace. * Oversee operations, schedule efficiently, manage resources/costs, and ensure on-time, high-quality output. * Track KPIs, monitor productivity, analyse data, and drive efficiency, profitability, and process improvements. * Lead and support staff, manage training and hiring, promote positive culture, and resolve issues quickly. About You * The successful candidate shall have FMCG manufacturing experience with an understanding of weight legislation. * Degree educated, knowledge and understanding of engineering, ideally with hands on experience within a similar role. * Proven experience in multi-stage manufacturing processes including processing or blending raw materials, and packing operations. More details The Production Manager job (ref:8951) is Β£50,000 – Β£60,000 + benefits according to your experience. The site is based in Norfolk and is commutable from Diss, Kings Lynn, Ely, Fakenham, Bury St Edmunds, Norwich, Thetford, Cambridge, Wisbech and surrounding areas. The package includes Bupa healthcare and the working hours are Monday to Friday β 6:00am-3:00pm.
