As Product Developer, you will support the commercial team and act as a key link between customers and internal teams.

Key Tasks:
  • Act as a product development and ingredient expert across nuts, seeds, and dried fruit categories.
  • Support the commercial team with creative insight and product innovation.
  • Understand customer briefs and translate technical and creative requirements into solutions.
  • Present concepts, insights, and product proposals directly to customers on site visits.
  • Stay up to date with market trends across bakery, snacks, cereals, and healthier ingredients.
About You:
  • Strong background in one or more of bakery, snack foods, cereal bars, breakfast cereals or ingredients supply.
  • Ability to interpret customer data and insights.
  • Comfortable presenting, discussing products, and engaging with technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Understanding of NPD processes and ingredient functionality.

The Product Developer job is based in Essex and is paying c. £45,000 according to your experience. The candidate shall be expected to live in, or near Essex, as well as being able to travel on a monthly basis on customer visits. The role is commutable from Chelmsford, Colchester, Braintree, Witham, Halstead, Sudbury, Billericay, Basildon, Malden, Halstead and Bishop Stortford. The working hours are Monday to Friday, usual office hours.
