About the Sales Manager job The purpose of your role will be lead and take full ownership of the UK Sales Department, driving growth through the development and execution of a successful sales strategy. You will build and strengthen key customer relationships, increase revenue, expand market presence, and enhance brand awareness. Working closely with senior management, you will ensure sales objectives align with business goals while recruiting, leading, and developing a high-performing sales team to support the company’s continued growth and long-term success. Key tasks * Take full ownership and responsibility for the Sales Department whilst working closely with senior management to align sales goals with company strategy. * Develop and execute the sales strategy for the UK market as well as recruiting, leading and developing the sales team as the business expands. * Build, manage, and grow key customer relationships and always drive revenue growth, market penetration, and brand presence. About You * The successful candidate shall have at least 5 years’ proven experience in food sales within FMCG, food service or retail sectors. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and manage a department as well as excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills. * Experience of launching or growing a brand in a competitive market is highly desirable and you must be a results-driven, self-motivated, and strategic thinker. More details The Sales Manager job (ref:9078) is paying £60,000 to £62,000 according to your experience. This is a site-based role with UK and International travel as well as some hybrid working. The site is in South Wales and is commutable from Bridgend, Newport, Pontypool, Caerphilly, Aberdare, Merthyr Tydfil, Llantrisant. The package includes an Employer Pension Contribution of 4%. The working hours are Monday to Friday, standard office hours.
