About the NPD Technologist job
The purpose of your role will be to Report to the NPD Manager and support in the creation and development of products through the NPD process, from concept through to launch.
Key tasks
- Manage NPD projects from concept to launch, including planning, conducting, and reporting on trials, and overseeing preproduction and production launches.
- Serve as the primary customer contact during development, coordinating samples, delivering presentations, and ensuring excellent customer care.
- Complete initial product costings and collaborate with suppliers to support development efforts.
- Conduct competitor and market reviews to inform development strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
About You
- Hold a degree in food science or a related field, ideally with a years relevant NPD experience in the food manufacturing sector, possibly as a placement.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and proficient PC skills.
- Passionate about food and trends, with the motivation to excel in a dynamic environment.

The NPD Technologist job (ref:8968) is paying £25,000 – £30,000 according to your experience.
The site is based in North London and is commutable from Enfield, Ilford, Hackney, Waltham Cross and Potters Bar.
The package includes 20 days holiday + bank holidays and pension.
The working week is Monday to Friday.
