As NPD Manager, you\’ll lead product development from concept to launch, ensuring innovation, market competitiveness, and compliance. Manage timelines, budgets, suppliers, and ingredient sourcing while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

You will ensure product development aligns with customer codes, BRC, and FSA standards. Collaborate cross-functionally on sourcing, artwork, and compliance. Lead and develop the NPD team, oversee processes, and stay ahead of food trends through benchmarking and innovation.

Qualifications

You will be educated to degree level in food science or a related subject. Qualified in food legislation, sensory training, and thermal processing. Experience of managing NPD team with multiple customers and projects.

Pay and Compensation

The NPD Manager job (ref:8771) is based in South Wales and is paying £55,000 – £60,000 according to your experience. There is also a car allowance of £6500, a discretionary bonus (5%) based on performance, Pension (5% Employer and 3% Employee), Private Health Insurance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Some travel (UK & European) and Multi-Site Management is required.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, Office Hours with flexibility.
