The purpose of your role will be to develop and launch innovative products for major UK retailers, from concept to market. Identify customer needs, shape product strategy, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional in a fast-paced, customer-focused food manufacturing environment.
Key tasks:- Carry out all product development-related tasks for customer accounts up to factory implementation and understand the product development guide and the parameters that need on products.
- Create recipes that taste great and are safe and stable.
- Build strong relationships with key customer accounts.
- Work cross-functionally with the wider company to deliver new briefs including Technical, Commercial and Process teams.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of customer product ranges.
The successful candidate should have NPD experience within a food manufacturing environment. Awareness of current trends, food innovation and knowledge of flavours etc. is essential. A forward thinker with a flair for creativity and innovation and a passion for food and quality. Project management skills would be desirable. Drives and has own car – site is not easily accessible by public transport.
