This is a successful family-owned food manufacturing organisation which has grown rapidly and aspires to accelerate this growth over the coming years. Currently a single-site operation, there are plans to move to multi-site to manage the increasing demand.
This exciting new role brings with it the opportunity to work closely with the CEO and members of the senior team to develop and drive the people strategy to ensure success of the organisation with the growth plans in place.
This newly created role was historically managed across members of the senior team and have been largely reactive. You will therefore need to develop and implement the people strategy to set the business up for success for the foreseeable future to include:
- Employer brand
- Employee lifecycle
- HR/legal compliance
- Employee relations
- Compensation and reward
- Internal communications
- Development performance
- Personnel sponsorship
Key tasks include ensuring channels of communication are maximised to drive and embed the values and performance of the organisation, and ensuring compliance with UK employment law, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
Recruitment and retention will focus on the employee lifecycle.
