As Product Developer, you will support the commercial team and act as a key link between customers and internal teams.
Key Tasks:- Act as a product development and ingredient expert across nuts, seeds, and dried fruit categories.
- Support the commercial team with creative insight and product innovation.
- Understand customer briefs and translate technical and creative requirements into solutions.
- Present concepts, insights, and product proposals directly to customers on site visits.
- Stay up to date with market trends across bakery, snacks, cereals, and healthier ingredients.
- Strong background in one or more of bakery, snack foods, cereal bars, breakfast cereals or ingredients supply.
- Ability to interpret customer data and insights.
- Comfortable presenting, discussing products, and engaging with technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Understanding of NPD processes and ingredient functionality.
The role is based in Essex and is paying c. £45,000 according to your experience. The candidate shall be expected to live in, or near Essex, as well as being able to travel on a monthly basis on customer visits. The working hours are Monday to Friday, usual office hours.
