The purpose of your role will be to take responsibility for managing daily process operations, ensuring smooth and efficient department performance. You will oversee staff, meet company targets and customer needs, enforce health, safety, and SOP compliance, and manage costs effectively.

Key tasks:
  • Ensure enough staff and resources are in place, set team goals, delegate tasks, and manage schedules.
  • Track output, quality, and efficiency, solve process problems, and suggest improvements to reduce costs.
  • Provide feedback, coaching, and training, ensure safe equipment use, and enforce company standards.
  • Work alongside managers and teams, manage stock with the warehouse, and encourage teamwork through meetings.

The successful candidate shall have experience of working within a manufacturing/production environment. You should possess leadership and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and support others. An understanding of health & safety best practice and relevant regulations is essential. You must be computer literate with the ability to use relevant computer programmes to create reports.

The position offers a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 + benefits according to your experience. The site is based in Norfolk and is commutable from Diss, Kings Lynn, Ely, Fakenham, Bury St Edmunds, Norwich, Cambridge, Wisbech and surrounding areas. The package includes Bupa healthcare, and the working hours are Monday to Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm.
